Mount Joy, PA Invests in a New Waste Oil Heater

We’re proud to announce that a brand new Clean Energy Heating Systems waste oil heater has been installed in the Mount Joy, PA public works building, just in time for heating season. We sat down with Director of Public Works Thomas Strubel to see what he thinks of our new line of waste oil furnaces.

What do you think of the quality of your new waste oil furnace?

It’s excellent quality, there was definitely a lot of homework and research that went into making this furnace. I appreciate that it’s stainless steel and that it is easy to service and maintain. Another aspect that we appreciate is that its made right here in the USA!

Why did you choose to buy a waste oil furnace?

It’s definitely going to be a great supplemental heat source. We create a lot of waste oil here in our shop from all of our off-road and on-road equipment. Lots of oils. And different kinds of oils such as regular motor oil and hydraulic oil. I’m hoping to start a community-wide recycling program that will allow us to reduce our natural gas heating costs by supplementing our heating needs with recycled oil. The past few years we’ve been giving away our waste oil, and now we’re looking forward to using it to create heat.
