Why Stainless Steel?

One of the main differences that sets a Clean Energy waste oil furnace apart is our use of precision-engineered, stainless steel heat exchangers.

Stainless steel is one of the most durable materials out there, and our testing has shown that it holds up better to high temperatures, is more efficient and outlasts other materials by a long shot.

cehs-300x250-2An important benefit of stainless steel is that it transfers heat quicker than mild steel at the higher temperatures that exist inside a furnace. This means more efficient heating for your facility.

In combination with their stainless steel construction, our flue tubes are swedged – not welded – to prevent cracking as temperatures inside the furnace rise and fall with your heating cycles. Swedged joints are the best way to build this critical component within our waste oil furnaces and result in the longest lifespan for your furnace.

These are just a few examples of why we’re so proud of our the design of our new line of products. We’ve rethought the concept of the waste oil furnace from the ground up, and have incorporated many new innovations that make our products better than any other.

A few of our innovations include:

  • Stainless steel heat exchangers that are more efficient
  • Stainless steel flue tubes that are more durable
  • Vertically oriented flue tubes that are easier to clean
  • Easy-to-use digital burner controls

In addition, we’re not done yet. Our company is committed to innovation on every level, and over the coming months and years we’re going to roll out products that will reshape the waste oil heating industry.
