New Waste Oil Furnaces Achieve UL and CUL Listing

We’re pleased to announce that our newest waste oil furnaces have achieved certification by Underwriters Laboratories for use in the United States and Canada. In order to gain certification, our line of waste oil furnaces had to pass rigorous safety tests. Here are just a few of the tests that UL ran when analyzing and certifying each of our waste oil furnaces:

• Low Voltage Test to make sure that there is good ignition even in a low voltage situation
• Cold Oil Test to make sure that the furnace will ignite and safely work no matter the temperature of the oil
• High Limit Cutout Test to make sure the furnace safely shuts down on its own if the burner gets too hot
• Fan Failure Test to make sure the furnace safely shuts down on its own if the fan fails
• Air Pressure Failure Test to make sure that if the unit loses air pressure it will safely and automatically turn the burner off
• Temperature Data Testing to make sure that the heater runs at a safe and reliable temperature and won’t present a danger to its surroundings.
